Deutz DQC IV-18
Deutz DQC IV-18 is a high performance, high TBN lubricant specification designed for use in high performance engines with steel pistons, closed crankcase ventilation and the highest thermal loads and piston cleanliness requirements. Most commonly this lubricant specification is used in off-highway equipment where advanced aftertreatment systems such as Diesel Particulate Filters (DPFs) are not fitted.
Deutz DQC IV-18 lubricants are typically SAE 10W-40 viscosity grades based on a combination of API Group III & Group II base oils.
The main physical and chemical requirements for Deutz DQC IV-18 are shown below:
|HTHS viscosity at 150°C||CEC L-36-A-90||cP||≥ 3.5|
|Sulphated Ash||ASTM D874||%wt||≤ 2.0|
